TV Show graphic design
I worked in the art department on a Māori tv show premiering in New Zealand late 2026. My first job on the show was working as the graphic designer where I designed fictional brands including fake brands, websites, menus, labels and letters. The wine labels and menu needed to have an ‘expensive’ look to them to match one of the characters on the show. The business cards are meant to look expensive but slightly tacky. The websites are purposefully ‘scammy’ looking to emphasise the characters desperation for a home loan.
Book graphic design and illustration
I was employed by the University of Auckland to design and create illustrations for an academic book that my mother wrote. The book is set to be published this year by Routledge. I used a Wacom tablet, InDesign and Photoshop to create the book. The publication explored themes of artificial intelligence, algorithms, fake news, and the impact of social media on teenagers, while also presenting strategies for managing these challenges through the development of critical thinking skills.
