asset design

I created all of my assets in Maya and textured them in Substance Painter. To ensure high quality for my textured objects I maintained a high Texel density for each model in maya before exporting. Some of the things I did while texturing included: Using SSS for the candle to give it the textural qualities of wax. I worked with opacity to create ripped edges for my scroll. I designed my own alpha images for the texture along the mortar and pestle in Photoshop and used displacement to have the texture appear engraved. I spent a lot of time on specular breakup while texturing to ensure my objects looked aged/dusty/scratched.

character design

I was approached by two different knitwear designers in London and Melbourne to create 3D characters wearing their designs.

hybrid modelling

I created this hybrid model of a bag and a crocodile as one of my Yoobee assignments. I wanted the bag to feel real and look as though it could be found next to a body of water. I created the interior of the bag in Z Brush to add to the textural element of the mouth.

compositing
jewellery store2

I created this 3D scene using assets from CG Trader to composite together a scene in Maya. I designed the signs myself in photoshop and illustrator. I created the flickering sign animation using a frame of the light on and off in Maya then I sequenced them together in After Effects.
